Day 7 - Core Strength
I hope by now you are feeling the benefit of 10 minutes of yoga every morning. It's time to focus on our core today. We go from our knees, to our side to our backs and roll back up. Lots of options and poses to challenge your core muscles including kapalabhati kriya, an excellent exercise to tone the abdominals and to fill the body and brain in particular with lots of oxygen. Poses include:
Vasisthasana
Supine twists
Cat cow curls
Navasana - boat pose
Apanasana - wind relieving pose with alt leg holds.
